What did you like studying in science and why?
I liked studying biomass. It was interesting to see how it produces electricity and how it is much cheaper than other energies. It was also interesting to see its history. It was even around when cave men were around. When I learned about biomass, I did a brochure on it. We had to find certain things about it.

Describe some of the things you learned in class.

1. Photosynthesis: the process in which a plant uses lights to make glucose and release oxygen.
2. Adaptations: Structure, Behaviors, Body Process
3. Competition: the struggle for food, water, a place to live, and a mate.

Describe how you can apply some things you learned to the real word.

You could use competition to see how animals get food, where they live, etc. You could find a lot about an animal by seeing how they live. We learned about a solar eclipse. When one happens, you will know what you’re looking at and what is happening.

I chose this power-point because it was fun to see that biomass was even around when cavemen were around.
